John Krikke has been involved in the technology industry since 1982. He began selling cellular phones when they were introduced to Canada in the early ‘80s. Soon after that he joined a local computer reseller, rising to the the position of branch manager. It is at this company that he met and worked with Don Kovacs. Wanting to focus on providing complete solutions for small businesses rather than just selling computers, he left in 1993 to form Krikke Computer Services (KCS). KCS was an innovator in providing managed support services for small and medium sized business. In 2009 John merged the operations of KCS into Onward Computer Systems and assumed the role of Vice President.
John Krikke holds a number of technical certifications and plays an active role in CompTIA’s Canadian IT Business community. Currently he is a member of the CompTIA Partner Advisory Council, representing the interests of IT companies to CompTIA, the world's leading tech association. He was selected for this advocacy role based on his successful community-engagement activities, as well as his considerable knowledge about technology, business, and market opportunities. In the past, he was the SMB Partner Area Lead for Canada, acting as liaison between Microsoft and the SMB partner community. John sits on a number of advisory panels and boards and regularly participates in industry conferences.
